World's Biggest Iceberg Gives Up, Runs Away

(GivenUs.com) – Have you ever thought about giving up? You know, moving away, changing your name and entering the witness protection program? I’ve heard they put you up in a house, give you a car and pay all your bills. Sounds like a pretty sweet deal!

But I digress… let’s get back to running away. Who doesn’t dream about getting away and doing something new? Some people actually do it. Even the world’s biggest iceberg went looking for a change of scenery. Covering an area of 6,000 square kilometers, A68 (not such a clever name) took off in July of 2017. And it’s been on the run ever since.

A68 is supposed to pick up speed and encounter some rough waters when it enters iceberg alley. It may take a beating. It might even break up into smaller pieces. But it will continue to follow its course, regardless of what the future holds.

If you, too, want to do something new or broaden your horizons, take a lesson from A68. You may not know what’s ahead, but you know you don’t want to stay moored to the spot you’re in. Let go! Follow your dreams! Go for that new job, move to a new city, change your name, get a motorcycle… just don’t stay stuck!
