  • Breathe Deep. Sitting up straight in your chair, take a few deep breaths. Not only does this help with stress, but it also lowers blood pressure, temporarily.
  • Guided Visualization. Close your eyes and imagine yourself at a peaceful place for a few minutes. Try listening to ambient nature sounds if you can’t tune out.
  • Drink Tea. Instead of heading to the break room for coffee, grab yourself a cup of hot water and steep your favorite tea. Black tea promotes feelings of relaxation.
  • Bubble Wrap. Keep some handy in a drawer. When you get stressed, pull it out and pop away. Some believe it is the best stress reliever there is.
