Here are a few ways to work on making positive changes in your life:

  • Set goals and follow through. Procrastination can be a major hindrance in making important changes. Try setting smaller goals. This makes it easier to follow through, which might inspire you to tackle the larger humps.
  • Banish negative thoughts. Being hurt in the past can lead to negative thoughts outweighing the positive ones. Know your worth. Reiterate it through positive, affirmative thoughts throughout the day. Eliminating negativity will give you the boost to change.
  • Improve your confidence. The inability to make a job or relationship change often stems from lack of self-worth and confidence. If you find you have low self-esteem, work on ways to improve it.

Practice self-love and tell yourself you are great just how you are! Once you gain confidence, nothing can hold you back.
